New Website / Forum

Greetings All, if you didn't notice - we have updated our website. Not just the look, but the underlying technology has been upgraded. This will enable some slick features coming soon.

We've had a couple of minor bumps...looks like the "Join Date" and Avatars didn't copy over correctly. We'll get this fixed soon.

I posted a few comments about the new forum in another section, but have yet another comment. Could the vertical height of the software be reduced? The old listings fit easily within the viewing area of my desktop monitor, this software makes me scroll down to see the last few items. There seems to be plenty of open space that could be tightened up without making it too cluttered.

Here's the other items I posted:

In reading the " Obtaining VOR freq " topic in this section, I noticed that the software seems to be splitting words in order to wrap to the next line, instead of keeping words together. Although I suppose I can learn to live with it, it seems that it should keep words together and break at spaces and wrap the whole word to the next line.

In typing this, I noticed the "Auto Saved" button. My biggest complaint with this is the location. It is blocking the middle of the top row of the comment as I was typing. Again, I can live with it, but it seems there must be a better place the "Auto Saved" message could be located rather than within the text box.

And while we're at it... Would you please make the forum zoomable as before? Not that my eyes are getting any older, rather the text seems to be shrinking.

And the auto saved box has to go. Somewhere else.

Is anyone else having a new issue when posting from an Android device with the first two letters of a sentence being capitalized? It's happened several times since the website update.

I like the new format, but after so many years it will take some time getting accustomed to. But, I'm not a fan of having to input both my email address and password to log in, even when I mark "Remember Me".
