I honestly don't understand the whole logbook thing. Not talking about eLogs in general. I've had one longer than most. My first one was in DOS back in the early 1990s and I stopped using my paper log altogether except for endorsements by CFIs who feel more comfortable with paper

But I don't understand the desire to tie oneself to a particular EFB by having their most important flight records there, especially when there are such good alternatives.

An interface would be nice, but given the way iFly operates, I suspect it will take a major change in the architecture. IFly doesn't really interface with the operating system much to begin with. Try to copy/paste anything between iFly and another app and you will see what I mean. (That's actually the biggest downside I see in iFly)
