Slected showed stratux, status showed connected. Green check next to all items in the list. The LG5 displayed metars, notams, traffic, pireps etc from the stratux. The LG5  would not paint the nexrad layer on the map. My 740 showed the current nexrad from the stratux

Please do "Menu => About => Send Bug Report => Select File  => {select log file that pertains the time when this issue happened}"

This will send me the log file that might give me some clues.

Also - there is a hidden feature of iFly which permits you to record your entire ADSB stream.  You can enable this at startup with:

Menu => About => Connected Devices => Select Wireless Device => "Enable ADS-B Logger" (check the box).

Then when you connect to Stratux, it'll record this file, which can then be sent to me via the "Bug Report" (use "Select File" to select the adsb raw bin file that you just created).  From this file, I can replay the entire stream and diagnose the issue better.

Also make sure you haven't accidentally set the Nexrad opacity to 0%...(Touch Map Mode, then the gear icon next to Nexrad, then Set Nexrad Opacity)

Should "0" opacity be allowed?

Oooops, I should have corrected Walter's statement above.    In fact, I'll probably delete it so that no one gets confused.

Weather setting at 0% does NOT persist.  As soon as you close the mini-form, it reverts back to 20%, which is the persisted minimum.... to avoid exactly this type of potential confusion.  You CAN'T set it to 0% and have that persist after the slider-form is closed.  So this is *not* the issue.
