The #1 cause is that for Android 6+, they game has changed for us, since our Dec 23rd, 2018 release.   Now you have to *specifically* enable Location services for each App, via a dialog box that only prompts for this one thing.

And for each version of android, the process is different.  For Android 7, you need to go to "Apps" and bring up the app info (tap on "iFly GPS" inside App Manager list of apps).

Then it gives you the option of enabling Location Services for iFly GPS specifcally.  That should fix it.

I just found another qwerk on my Android NOTE 9. 

As I have posted on the Android site under resolving jerky Synth Vis it was recommended I buy a Stratux, which I did. I could get to work on both my LG GPAD and Samsung TAB A, but could not get IFLY to connect to Stratux on the phone, but it would connect to the Stratux Manager App.

I just resolved this issue and you may want to put in in IFLYs bag of corrective actions.

I went through the device maintenance settings on the phone Under BATTERY there are three option setting to save battery. Off..MID...and...MAX. I had it set on MID. When I set it back to OFF IFLY could now connect.

I thank those on the forum that tried to help me on this issue.

To paraphrase what you said about Android...So many phones...so many options.
