One way to get flight plans from one device to another that is also running iFlygps is to have them on the same network and then Load a saved flight plan then Share the flight plan with local devices. Let it come in to the other device then Save the flight plan on that device. Go back to the "master" device, load another flight plan and repeat. It takes a bit but it does allow you to get all of your favorite flight plans from one device to another.

With the new andoid OS version (marshmallow?) I can't find how to put neither the iFly app nor it's data onto the SD card like I used to have it. In fact, I had to reset the tablet and reload EVERYTHING, but that's a different story. Is there a llag in iFly somewhere that directs it to store and load off the SD card?

Thanks.

I build my flight plan on the skyvector site, download the .GPX file, copy the file into  This PC\SAMSUNG-SM-G935V\Phone\Android\data\iFly.GPS\files\iFly\#FlightPlans on your device. This file path will vary from device to device. It will then be in your list of flight plans to load. No rooting of your device required. Also this provides a way to backup your flight plan by saving it in skyvector.

Wouldn't it just be easier to run iFly on your intial device (I'm assuming that's a tablet or desktop) and do your flight planning using it instead of using SkyVector?  Then everything is backed up in the cloud (by iFly) and can easily be "sync'ed" onto (or shared to) all your devices, without all the manual effort you described.

I used to use SkyVector and I still do sometimes, but iFly is a lot more capable.
