Hi all - my Samsung tablet recently got the update to iFlyGPS and is trying to update the geographic databases. I've been trying multiple times to download the update, and it gets to about 73% overall complete (71% of the DB file itself), then the throughput dies and the download fails. Any re-attempts also fail. Anyone having this same issue?

Just tried it here and it's working.  Can you please try again now and confirm it's still happening for you?  It might have been a temporary server issue.

If you can reproduce, please do Send Bug Report, right after it fails, so that I can see the log.

Thanks, Brian. I tried it again and it failed at the same point. I've sent the bug report as requested.

Thanks for the bug report.  Your log file reports that the hydro/water data file has a corrupted file handle.  This can be caused by a faulty Sd Card, or could just be a fluke.

If you can find a way to make File Manager delete this file, you might be able to then complete the download:

    "/storage/47CE-8808/Android/data/iFly.GPS/files/iFly/Data/staticdata/Hydro/Hydro_L0.str"

If you can't delete that file, try uninstalling and reinstalling iFly GPS, or just replace your Sd Card with a new one.

If you don't replace your SdCard, and issues like this recur, it usually indicates a faulty SdCard and it needs to be replaced.
