ReF: Galaxy Note 9 phone

I can get a chart only in the portrait mode. When I go to landscape I can only get vector charts.

I have noticed bugs like this since the sketch feature was added. Maybe a coincident.

I have also noted a delay when touching the screen and moving the map on my Galaxy TAB A tablet. The phone above moves smoothly and quickly. The tablet is jerky and this may be why my AHRS attitude on the Synthetic Vision is also jerky.

I have dumped a lot of apps on my Tablet to see if this helps, but no effect. Also moved maps from the SD card to the internal memory and no help there either.

I know someone on this forum will have a solution.

Hi John, thanks for reporting this device/orientation specific issue.   Can you please reproduce each fo these defects and then do a "Menu => About => Send Bug Report" for each.    For each bug report, please do a clean restart of iFly application, so that the log will be simple and only contain data for that run.   In the bug report email, please describe the issue you are seeing at top of email.   I will check your logs for exceptions; often if errors are being generated rampantly (in the log), it can be coupled with visual defects (e.g. no maps) and choppiness.

For some reason, my NOTE 9 is NOW showing both VFR and Vector and I can switch back and forth OK. Have no idea what changed.

I have had this same problem with my Samsung Note 9 as well. Sometimes it works and sometimes I get no Sectional Maps when changing to landscape mode. I have not checked it in a while as I use the phone as a backup, so it may have been fixed by now....
