p>Here are my responses to each of these:

  1. To resolve this one, we'll need someone to submit an ADSB Log for a time when it happened.  To enable the ADSB Logger, do "Menu => Setup => ADS/B => Options => Enable ADSB Logger".    Then at iFly startup each time, answer "Yes" to the prompt for keeping ADSB enabled.   When the issue next occurs then, you will be able to "Menu = > About => Send Bug Report => Select Log => scroll down and select the Adsb log that has the correct time stamp".
    From that log, we should be able to reproduce the myserious Ghost, and then fix it.
     
  2. When did this occur?  Was it a beta version, or production?  We had a few hiccups with releases around Christmas time, but these were resolved fully by Jan 15th.  I think you might be referring to this hiccup.   It has been fixed, and should never recur.
     
  3. The "light red" screen is our "no internet loading..." tile.   It should only occur for areas where you didn't download the map data, and so it's trying to Stream it... and the light red indicates that you currently don't have an internet connection.   That's how it was designed to work.
    If there are occasions where it's malfunctioning, please let us know more specifics/details, so that we may have more clues as to where in the code the malfunction might be occurring.
     
  4. Real Plan for v11.0 is a "Beta" feature.  It works decent for many, and not well enough for others.  I believe your flight plans are more challenging than most, due to flying low through mountainous terrains.   We do intend to fix this in a future release, but unfortunately ran out of time on removing all quirks/bugs/deficiencies in this feature before releasing it.  We made it available, because for some, it is still a useful feature.

    When it comes time to making these fixes, I'd like to work closely with you, as a beta tester, to mature this feature until it's more useful to folks like you as well.

Can you please provide us with more details about this.   Does it really fail close to 50% of the time?  And when it fails, does it fail indefinitely until you restart?  And when it works, does it work indefinitely until you restart?

The next time it happens, can you please do a "Menu => About => Send Bug Report" and tell us in the email body what you just saw.   From here, we can look at the log file to see if there are any hints as to why it might be failing.

I believe this works fine for the vast majority of devices, else we would have heard similar bug reports for the latest beta release before releasing to production.   So we think this issue might be device-specific.   Your log file should tell us something meaningful.

Hi John,
I was really hoping to get an ADSB log from you for the ghost-diamond glitch. I'm pretty sure we can fix this, once we see it in action.

Also, the pink tiles that show up for the first few renders should only happen if the area you are viewing has not been specifically downloaded (via Menu => Check for Updates => Select your state area). For me, on my Galaxy S10, I see the pink for about 0.5 sec. Are you seeing it for longer?
