Is it possible to use the ifly 720 serial connection to provide wing leveler and course tracking autopilot function thru a GRT Sport EX and using the GRT servos.

We have NMEA output w 7 series devices, so I'd imagine that it would drive it just fine... pin 3 is transmit data, pin 5 is ground.

In english please, is the data thru the USB port or ? on my 720 all the ports are phono plug, or USB or power plug, other than the external antenna. I am interested as I would like to get the output hooked into an EFIS display.

The USB port at the same end where the power plug is is your serial connection. Yes the serial connection ( ie USB port ) will support an wing leveler autopilot, I have recently just removed that input from a 396 and transferred it over to the 740b . That serial NMEA connection is driving a Trio wing leveler and does a very good job. although its only a VFR device the published RNAV approach work flawlessly .
