I like to read read and manuals are no exception. If I find just one useful feature I didn't know about it was worth the read.

Thanks Walter.  The best thing about printed manuals is that the batteries never run out!!!

Okay, so I priinted out the manual and have been reading it. Really!  Strange experience for me.

Noticed a couple of minor errors for the next printing:

P. 44, Altitude MSL: "(This is not the same at"  Should be "as".

P. 47: "• Hi-ResWinds: Shows the current fuel prices, color coded to indicate the best rates." [Sic.] The entry for Fuel Prices is correct.

Thanks Walter, But I have to admit that I have never read the manual for the iFly . Maybe I should . I must say all my flying is VFR . I've owned and flown with the 700, 720 and now the 740b . There's probably a number of things I don't know how to use on there, but a bit of battery time and I can usually make a stab at it. Thanks for a great VFR GPS that does everything I need it to do and more, and is intuitive enough to get results without reading the manual. Also appreciate the fact that Adventure Pilot keeps the software and data updates available with new features quite often.
