I think that means a comprehensive chart of the entire US low altitude charts has expired, not the actual charts you use to fly with when zoomed in to a readable level.

Sure, that makes sense. It's just a bit disconcerting. I'd prefer to see the WAC and IFR comp charts removed by default since they seem to be unmaintained.

But, we need to see something when we zoom out to the entire US. It would have been a colossal fail not to update IFR charts.
