Thanks, will check it out next time I go flying.

If it's what I think it is, it's an alert that your AHRS is telling iFly that you are at a very unusual attitude.  Most likely because your AHRS is not calibrated, or otherwise not correctly depicting your current level attitude.  I'm not sure you can get rid of it (there's a discussion somewhere on  here about that, but I forget where) beyond letting the AHRS calibrate, or resetting the AHRS.

I am having exactly the opposite problem: I have 2 fairly new and fully updated Android devices running iFly, and even though both connected easily to my new Stratus 3 wifi, neither shows any AHRS readings. I have used the Stratus Horizon Pro app to set the Stratus to "Open ADS-B Mode", restarted everything more than once, and still nothing but an artificial horizon display with a red X saying "No AHRS Connected"

Is there something I am missing here?  Is there a way to force the ifly devices to open the Stratus receiver and start using it ?

It sounds like you're doing exactly what you're supposed to, but I'll go over what I would do and see if anything works.

You've already verified that your iFly's connect to the Stratus 3 WiFi.  And there's no ForeFlight involved here.

Go to Menu>Setup>ADS/B (may have Waiting in () )  OR click on the ADSB Status instrument.  Either way you should end up with this:

If it looks exactly like the box above, you're somehow not connected to the Stratus, or the Open ADSB switch isn't on.  You should have green check marks next to each (or most ) item in the list.

If it doesn't say "Stratus III" like above, or you don't have the green checks, click "Options".  You'll get this:

If it doesn't say "Stratus III", click on "Change Selected Device" and select Stratus III from the list.

If you don't have the green checks, click on "Reset / Reconnect".

As I recall, it does take a minute or so for my Stratus 3i to get itself all set up and ready to do whatever it is it does.

I realize you probably already have done all this, but it's all I know to do.

Scott, you shouldn't need to do anything else if it's in the Open mode.  You might have a defective Stratus.  Does it work on other apps?
