If you have an older Stratux, you will  need to add the AHRS module.  It is $15 on Amazon.

This will allow you to use the iFly synthetic vision on all devices, IFly, Android, or IOS.  And yes, just tap the 3D EFIS button.

Thanks for the info.

Guess I'll buy the newest Stratux with the AHRS module and also the box with the fan to put it in.

Good decision.  If you don't want to build one youself, I would get this one.  They are quite easy to build also if you're into that sort of thing.  I have built and sold about 10 of them on eBay.

OK. I am now the proud owner of a Stratux complete with fan box, battery and position holder.

I had an AHRS indication on both my LG GPAD and Samsung TAB A while at my hangar, but now while at home I only get the IFLY Synth Vis display. Occasionally it tries to show the AHRS synthetic. And if I tilt is to a down nose position it comes up with the artificial horizon display with a sharp audible warning. The tablets say I am connected to Stratux and I can see traffic into John Wayne airport.

Also have not been able to connect with the Stratux with my Samsung Note 9.

On the tablets in the ADSB status window, it shows one green bar and says ADSB. The phone just shows GPS strength and no targets.

I turned the tablets off and still can get no connection to Stratux on my phone. I do have a connection to my Stratux Manager Panel, but none to IFLY

Any Ideas???

I'm not sure what you are asking.  Anyway, you must connect your phone or tablet to the Stratux via WIFI.  Once connected, start up iFly GPS then go to Connected Devices and choose Stratux/FlightBox.  It should take 5 or 10 seconds to connect iFly to your Stratux.  Now, on the ground, you may pick up some overhead 1090 traffic, but for the Stratux to work properly, you need to be airborne and receiving a ground station.

Also, you will need to go into the Stratux software to calibrate your Stratux so it will know what direction you will orient as forward and up.  Instructions for this are self-evident.
