I fly a Lake Amphibian and often go to very remote places where ADSB does not work and often fly too low for ADSB weather when over the Great Lakes.  I use XM weather because I can get it on the ground before takeoff and have it in marginal weather especially when over open water in the northern Great Lakes.  The only thing keeping me from buying the IFly system is that it will not work with XM.  I hope the powers that be of the I Fly system read this and look into making the system work with XM.   My present older system has this feature and it works but I would love to update to something like I Fly.

My guess is that other float plane pilots that use their planes like I do have the same issue with ADSB.

Sounds like a good idea, if feasible.
