If you were considering buying the Clarity for ads-b weather and ahrs, I suggest you consider a different product. If you have followed the dialogue in a previous thread, you will note the I (and others) have had problems getting the Clarity to connect and stay connected to the Ifly. I contacted their customer service the first week I noticed problems which was 6 weeks after purchase. There has been an exchange of emails between myself and Clarity. They claim the problem is Ifly and suggested that I should dump Ifly, buy an Ipad and acquire WingX in order to use the Clarity-- duh!!

I requested that Clarity start the paperwork for returning the product. They responded by saying their warranty was only for 30 days and since I had exceeded the 30 day warranty (by two weeks) they would not accept a return. I am not happy with their response....technically they are correct; practically their 30 day warranty doesn't allow for proper testing. I have been looking at Clarity since Osh last summer and waited until this spring (around time for Sun n Fun) when they announced they had all the bugs fixed in their system. I bought their unit in good faith ($1400 worth of faith) that they had resolved all their problems. Now I believe they released the unit prematurely to ensure that it was announced at Sun n Fun.

There is no comparison between the service we get from Walter, Shane et al at AdventurePilot and what I've received from Clarity....
