Walter, that would be great. It would also make transitioning from other GPS units much easier. I flew the low altitude enroute charts today. It made route change a piece of cake. The Ifly is a fantastic navigation device and your support is outstanding. Any idea when approach plates will be geo referenced?

All I can say is "sometime in 2011". The FAA has already encountered some delays on georeferencing their plates and airport diagrams, so we're starting to look more into Plan B - which is to purchase the georeferenced plates from a 3rd party and make this an optional feature.

Thanks,
Walter

Walter, thanks for your prompt and candid response. If "plan B" (purchasing geo-referenced approach plates) were to be followed what time frame and additional costs would be realistic?

You know I'm reluctant to publish my guesses about new features, it always comes back to haunt later. But I still hope to have this mid year 2011, cost should be $100/year or less.
