Jeff,

The iFly does show TFR data received through the ADSB device.  This started with version 9.  But they show up rarely - we had to parse through a LOT of recorded ADSB data before we found sample data.  I've concluded the FAA does not rebroadcast TFR data indefinetly.  Perhaps they send this data when it pops up, so folks in flight can catch it, but it seems to not be a replacement for pre-flight checking of TFRs.

so, 11 years later, 2020, is TFR data being transmitted continously via ADSB?  how can i be aware of TFRS during a X/C flight hours long?

I don't understand your "11 years" comment, but anyway if you're asking, "Can I rely exclusively on iFly to keep me safe from busting TFRs," I think the answer is "No," and it's not iFly's fault.  iFly will show you what the FAA is broadcasting in the ADSB messages, but if the FAA doesn't broadcast it, you won't see it.

In my area, I have never noticed a TFR missing on iFly that I was aware of.  However, others (maybe it was you?) have said that the fire-related TFRs in the Pacific Northwest are not reliably appearing.

Bottom line:  YMMV.  Get a pre-flight briefing and talk to ATC in the air if you want to be covered.

Also, the FAA itself says not to trust its own online TFR info. Phone a briefer, it says. (Thanks a lot.)
