Recently got a new 740. Had a 720 and two years ago used a 740. Used to have previous iFlys set to boot right into the navigation/sectional mode.

Now I have to go to the overview screen first, and in settings no longer find an option to boot straight to navigation.

IIRR, I do understand that when iFly is linked to some external accessories (probably the ones that connect via WiFi) booting straight to navigation can create flaky connection issues.

So I can understand why the default should be don't-boot-straight-to-navigation.

But I would like the OPTION to boot to navigation.

Is it, as it appears, really a removed option?

If so.... I'm requesting restoring it.  Even if activating it pops up a warning about possible accessory integration issues.

I've had a 740 for about a year and a half, mine boots directly to the iFly app/sectional, etc.

Its been a while  and maybe on older software vs  but the option to  go to the nav screen on power up was  under the "start up" options. which I believe was accessable under  settings or maybe tools in the main menu. Select NAV in that  start up menu and I believe it will work for you. I recently  removed the NAV from my start up option to see if the wifi would  connect first time more reliabily.
