I'd like to trace any past flights from the history file onto Google earth or any other tracking thingy.  Can this be done?

Yes, you can use GPS Visualizer to upload your flight data for viewing:

Here's a link to an iFly discussion about how to use GPS Visualizer:

Scroll down to Jeff Clark's detailed post (thanks Jeff!)

I just download all of my flight logs from the SD card to my computer. You can find them under \User\#FlightTrails on the SD card. Put them wherever you like.

Then in Google Earth choose File, Open... then in the Open Dialog choose file type: All Files (*.*)

If I fly multiple flights on one day I often stitch them together using NotePad++ and rename the result. Just be sure to get them in time order, that seems to matter to Google Earth.
