Great news, John! I too have been eyeing the TailBeacon since Uaxvionix's press release in March. It looks like a great idea and a simple & elegant solution to add ADS-B Out without a lot of rewiring and installation hassles. Thanks for reporting your Beta experiences with the Sky Beacon. I take it you need a mobile app to configure?

You configure the skyBeacon with an app on a phone or tablet ... I would imagine the tailBeacon would configure the same way, too. The app also lets you monitor the skyBeacon in real-time during flight via wifi.
