Michael -
Did you see this USB-to-Serial cable in the iFly store?

This is what I have used for years to simultaneously connect my iFly 740 to a Dynon D100 EFIS, TruTrack Auto Pilot and Flight Logic FC-10 Fuel Computer without any issues. The optional DB9 breakout adapter allows all 3 devices to connect to the iFly serial connector with screw terminals for a more secure connection. However, I'm not sure what serial chipset it uses.

Hi Michael,

I searched our ticket queue but couldn't find an email from you.  To make sure something isn't going wrong - can you tell me when and where you sent your request?

To your question - the iFly 700 line only supported prolific, subsequent models support FTDI as well.  However we've found some cables don't work well, maybe different chipsets or something on the cable...not sure.  But feel free to try your own cable, these are usually all-or-nothing.
