When you hit shut down stratux if you can see the stratux box the green light will blink several time then turn back solid completing the shut down of stratux.

Kevin, Yes - thanks!  This is the last thing I do AFTER engine shutdown and running my after landing/engine shutdown checklist.

Since I have been shutting down using this procedure, my STRATUX has been working fine for the last 6 months or so...no issues and no corruption.

I am now leaving my STRATUX in the aircraft and only take the battery with me to recharge...less wear and tear on the device and antennas...seems to be working well for me.
