I too get the "Update file not intended for this device."

The down load to my desktop computer worked ok. The USB stick has the iFlyUpdatePackage.zip file. I can unzip and view files on my desktop. All appears in order. It will not load into the iFly. What do I do different. I have done the download twice and attempted to load the iFly several times.

I have the file in two places on the USB stick, one on the top, (no subdirectory) and a second file under \documentts\downloads. Neither location on the USB stick works. I can view both file names with the iFly multimedia mode but that does not have the software to unzip and load the file.

Better control of the location of the downloaded file would be great. I would like to direct the download directly to the USB stick rather than downloading the file then copying it to the USB stick.

The stick is a "Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive" by SanDisk (4 GB) never used before, purchased from WalMart for about $10.00.

I purchased the iFly 700 at OSH. I have flown about 9 hours with it. I am a fan. It works great. I also fly with a Garmin 196 and find that I prefer to use the iFly for my navigation while flying. The numbers between the two GPS units match most of the time. Please add a direction and a frequency for the airport weather reporting.

If only I could download the iFly updated material. I loaned my iFly to another pilot to fly to Denver this weekend and I was hoping to give him updated maps. You should have another sale if the download problem can be solved.
