Continue to love the iFly, and the new release makes it even better!

My one problem is the external battery. iIt is about 7 months old and over the last month it has stopped charging. The charger puts out power, the light on the battery pack lights up, but the pack gets very hot and never charges. This is the same if charging from 12V on the plane or via 120V on the wall.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Bill

Bill,

Sounds like you have a warranty issue. Likely a bad cell, or capacitor. By chance, your not trying to charge with a 24V system are you. The power pack is only 110V AC and 12V DC compatible. Give us a call at 888-200-5129 and we will be glad take a look at it. Have a great day.

Shane,

Thanks for the offer. I will try and call tomorrow. No my plane is a 1970 172K, 14V (12V) system.

Bill
