About  1 in 10 times  I power up the IFly 720 and  the Navworx 600EXP  I will get  blanks in the STATUS block  and find  that the "  devise  is not connected"  a quick look   in the " about " will show  NAvWorX not connected.  ie no heartbeats.   I've tried the  reboot button there on the IFly but can say that it has never worked to re connect.  About the only thing  that  will work is to  pull power plug on the I fly and  wait 30 seconds and then repower,  It will usually  load back up  as it should normally with wifi connected.

Anyone  else had issues with the  wifi not connecting  about 10% of the time?  Anyone  had any luck with the  reset button which was added in sofware  not to long ago working to  attempt a reconnect and being sucessfull with that reconnect , short of repower  the entire unit.

My Ifly  powers up with the master switch and the  ADSB unit  is usually switched on  immediately ( even before  engine is cranked.)  It seems that  if the IFly gets to NAV screen before the ADSB unit get "warmed up" that the IFly  will never recognize there is a devise out there to connect with.

 Any comments ?

Maybe it would work better if the ADS-B unit could be powered up first, then the iFly after there is a WIFI signal to connect to.  IDK.  I always power up my Stratux before the iPad.  You could add a switch between the master switch and the iFly.

Dennis, if you have configured your iFly 720 to automatically launch the app - you might try turning that off.  If so, make sure it boots to the system menu, then manually launch the navigation app.  Let me know if this might be the case...

Walter, I do have it set up with the NAV app in auto . I will  turn that off and  select  it mannually for a while and see if that allows it enough time to  connect up with the WIFI.   Thanks , will let you know how that does. DRR

Give you ADS-B time to boot up first.
