How do you use markers? Why would you use them when you are flying?
Thanks - Still trying to figure out how to use the iFly 700!

I use a marker to locate a small airport that is difficult to find both in the air and on the chart.

It can be useful for marking, say, your house or that nude beach you inadvertantly overflew a couple of times yesterday.

Robert, you may be thinking of Custom Locations for that nude beach - Markers are not saved.

SOM, Anytime you tap the screen it drops a marker that shows the last/lon and your distance & course to the marker. And they have an "Option" button that allows you to get more information regarding stuff near that location. These markers fade away after a few seconds. If you want to pull information about a point several times, you might make it permanent. Or if you want to monitor your distance or course to a point on the map without modifying your flight plan, you could use this.
