Connected to what sort of display?  In what sort of housing?  Would anyone but you actually use it?

I'd like a Linux port of iFlyConnect to update the SD card. We travel with an old laptop running Ubuntu or Mint Linux, and being able to update the card in the motel would be very handy.

Have you tried to run iFlyConnect under Linux Wine?  I haven't tried it, just wondering.

No, I've never used Wine - but some of the virtualization software makes it difficlt to read things like SD card slots. I ought to try it sometime ...

i use ifly on an android phone and tablet currently, and built a stratux box.  stratux is a raspberry pi 3 that runs linux.  It looks like if you could run ifly on a raspberry pi 4 it should allow for dual touchscreens.  Also looks like it should be possible to rig an airpeed sensor to the pi, and more.

Yes, you can certainly do amazing things with a Raspberry Pi.  I too have a Stratux in my plane.  It's just not clear that, with the wealth of available iOS, Android, and Windows-based tablet and phone devices that iFly already supports, spending the development resources to make iFly work on a Pi adds anything to the appeal of the product.
