Hello all,
I was wondering what the possibility of displaying the Highway in the Sky guidance for a missed approach would be. I have used the guidance as a reference on numerous instrument approaches (reference only) and it was a HUGE help. Having done many simulated and a few actual missed approaches I would love to be able to be able to punch a “Missed approach” button and have the MAP procedure load and display in the HITS. I understand some will think this is taking it too far, but I can tell you having that visual reference when flying a procedure is so amazingly helpful.

It would seem to me that if something like this is implemented, it might be better it it was displayed automatically.  The last thing I would think an IFR pilot should be doing when going MA, would be to be punching "buttons" on a VFR only device.

Which brings up another thing.  As I recall, altitude guidance ends somewhere around 250AGL on any approach.  It would seem the same restriction would apply for departure.  It would seem iFly doesn't want us to rely on it for (potentially IMC) altitude guidace below 250AGL.

I would love automatic sequencing for the missed procedure , just wasn’t sure what others were thinking. The certified equipment I use requires that you activate the missed procedure in some way, there is no “automatic” sequencing without some sort of button pushing
