look at SETTINGS.  page 16   there are explanations for each option except ADS/B.  i want to know what all those check marks mean and why i get an X for gps even though it is correctly tracking my flight.

All of those checks come in as iFly receives those messages. Heartbeat being the most important one, it tells you if there's basic communication. The rest will check off as the first good message comes in. So you won't see a check for TIS-B until you receive from another aircraft, FIS-B and receiving towers until you're in range of a tower, etc.. An X for GPS suggests that iFly has not received any valid GPS messages from your ADS-B device and is relying on another source, like an internal antenna, for its position.
