The warnings I get for terrain and for traffic are probably going ot save my ass some day. I don't want to turn them off. But they block a large portion of the middle of the screen at a critical time. I'm trying to see where the traffic is or where the flashing red terrain is, but first I have to reach down and tap "acknowledge" or "inhibit". And sometimes one push is not enough.
I fly in busy airspace and I often fly quite low (my aircraft can do this safely) so I get these warnings all the time even though I have them set at the lowest alert level.
The warnings and alerts should be less obtrusive. Maybe a flashing red button across the top of the screen? It should be something that allows me to still see the center area of the screen and allows me to get my eyes back outside immediately.
